House Portraits
We offer bespoke hand drawn illustrations of your home.
Each house portrait creates a uniquely beautiful gift or keepsake.
We can create your portrait from an unlimited variety of buildings and have created artwork featuring flats, houses, barns, holiday homes, wedding venues, bungalows, thatched cottages and even house boats.
Our drawings are available in two sizes;
SMALL - frame / mount 21 x 30 cm (A4) wtih an illustration in the aperture of 12 x 17 cm
LARGE - frame / mount 30 x 40 com with an illustration in the aperture of 20 x 28cm
Wedding Venue Commisions
We offer bespoke hand drawn illustrations of your wedding venue.
Each wedding venue illustration creates a uniquely beautiful gift or keepsake.
Our drawings are available in two sizes;

We offer an illustration only services. Sizes currently on offer are A5 and A4
Special Building Commissions
We offer bespoke hand drawn illustrations of special buildings. Most of my art work is of Winchester in the UK but I am expanding my portfolio to include more landmark buildings across the UK and the world.
I have prints of these available at my Etsy shop.
They are generally avaialble as prints in A5, A4 and A3 size.

Fine Lines Illustrations
Ben Appleton created Fine Lines in 2020 when he decided to turn his passion and hobby into a business. Having practiced as a landscape architect for almost 20 years, drawing was most definitely part of the day job. But for fun, and for friend's birthdays and celebrations, he would draw houses as gifts. Urged by his friends to make more of his talent, Fine Lines was born.
How to commission
Ordering your bespoke illustration couldn't be easier. Follow the 3 simple steps below.

3 Framing & finishing
After you've placed your order, send us a high res image of your chosen building and select the size of your illustration.
We'll check whether you prefer black and white, or with colour and we will then begin drawing your illustration.
When this is done, we will send you a digital scan for approval.
We send them mounted in a white bevel cut mount, or if you choose, can frame them in a choice of white, black or oak frames. I hand-write the wording of your choice under the image or pick a type face if you prefer.
